IN response to your answer to the letter about non-smokers (Citizen: May 6). Firstly, smokers can pollute restaurants, cinemas, theatres and concert hall foyers. Smoking on planes is a fire risk I think. Lots of fuel about you know! Smokers paying 84 per cent more tax, how stupid. Not only do they fill their lungs with tar, they haven't got the brains to lobby Parliament, but then that's a British disease full stop. I'm glad smokers pay more tax than me. They should pay my tax, a discomfort tax.

Drinking only damages my life and nobody elses. Incidentally, why are you discriminating against fat people, non-smokers, people who like cakes, rugby players, climbers, snow-boarders, skiers, bungee jumpers, Formula 1 drivers, nurses and the SAS?

The latter being the guardian of this once great nation. Mr Editor, you must be a smoker and what's wrong with zealots?

Non smoking zealot
