STARTING next week Blackpool and the Fylde College will take part in a new initiative to help newcomers get to grips with the Internet.
The BBC Webwise campaign is aimed at giving people the confidence to start using the Internet by offering "taster" sessions in centres throughout the country, including the college's Bispham and Fleetwood campuses.
Anyone interested in taking part can contact the BBC helpline on (0800) 100900 or the college's learning centre on (01253) 352352.
