LINDSEY Alcock from Leyland believes that the fans should now get behind PNE to push them into Division One...

Come on you lot, get behind the team. Don't you want to be in Division One?

We only have three games now to prove that we should be in Division One, and I am writing to say that we have a part to play to help the lads by shouting our heads

This year I have been very disappointed with the north end fans. Sometimes Deepdale is way

too quiet, whatever happened to the barmy army chants that used to go on for ages?

This is the best season we have had in a long time, however there are too many so called fans who are far too willing to get on the backs of the players the minute something goes wrong.

The treatment of Rankine is the perfect example of this. We all make mistakes, and he hasn't done THAT badly.

It is really important that we get behind the team for the full 90 minutes on Sunday and hopefully we can cheer the lads on to Wembley!!

The club have finally seen sense and decided to give us three sides of the ground for the game, including the Kop, which will be a tremendous boost to us. Just think, three sides of booming noise (hopefully) scaring the Gillingham players witless!

And when we do get to Wembley (positive thinking) I don't think we will be up against Manchester City - I think we will be playing Wigan. They've had a tremendous run of form and might provide an interesting game for us. Or is that wishful thinking?
