GED Furey finished joint 12th with a four-round total of 288 in the Glenmuir Club Professional Championship at King's Lynn, Norfolk.

The Pleasington pro fired rounds of 72 and 70 to make the cut, before two further scores of 74 and 72 earned him a share of 12th place with Newport's Paul Mayo.

Clitheroe's John Twissell never recovered after a disastrous 84 in the opening round and eventually missed the cut with a 14-over-par 36-hole total of 158.
