AN EXCITING summer programme of fun activities for youngsters has been launched by Hyndburn Council.
Young people from eight to 19 can take part in everything from cricket and conservation to dancing and drama as part of the council's Just For Fun programme which will be run throughout the borough.
Activities include line dancing; horse riding; cricket; St John Ambulance courses; athletics; bowling; town hall tours; bird boxes; fun and games; environmental play; horse riding; craft workshops; environmental art; football coaching; drama; kites; conservation activities; swimming and roller discos.
The summer programme of events was launched at Hippings Methodist School, Oswaldtwistle. Children should receive brochures at school within the next week and brochures are also available from Accrington Information Centre, Town Hall, Accrington and Hyndburn Sports Centre, Henry Street, Church.
