TALENTED Kristen McNally took centre stage at a national dancing competition when she added yet another piece of silverware to an bursting trophy cabinet.

The 16-year-old, from Eccleston, was crowned Miss Dance of Great Britain after beating hundreds of competitors in the overall Modern Theatre contest. However, she also went one better by hitting the top spot in the Ballet category where she was representing the North of England.

Kristen, a pupil at both Rainford High and the Elizabeth Hill School of Dance, has also recently been accepted for a coveted place at the Royal Ballet School in London for this September after coming through her entrance exams with flying colours.
