THE head of drama at Leigh College, Julie McKiernan, is planning a student reunion.
A former pupil at Marshall Street, Julie is now in the 20th anniversary year of starting her studies there, and wants to see a big get together before the building is bulldozed.
She is looking for classmates who were with her between 1979 and 1981.
These include two stars who have made the big time - chess ace, Nigel Short, and big band leader, Andy Prior.
Julie said: "If Xanadu happens, in whatever form it eventually takes, the Marshall Street campus of Leigh Community Sixth Form Centre will be demolished and a new building erected elsewhere.
"I am trying to get ex-students together before this happens."
The event is planned for September 24 at Marshall Street (8pm). Anyone interested can contact Julie on 01942 761467.
