FOR some weeks rumours of impending changes to the No 44 bus service have caused concern for many elderly residents of north Cleveleys who depend on this service.
I, along with others, wrote to Blackpool Transport asking for clarification and expected a written reply.
Instead, Blackpool Transport took the trouble to send an official round to personally visit us and give us the true facts of the new service which will start in September.
Notices will be posted in current buses to inform the public of the forthcoming changes.
Well done Blackpool Transport.
It's a pity other public services can't follow your example.
