LEIGH have denied reports that chairman Mick Higgins has quit Hilton Park.
Rumours were circulating the town at the weekend about a surprise split.
And they gathered pace when Higgins failed to attend Sunday's crucial game at Keighley.
On Monday the club received a sick note from the chairman, who was back home in Wales convalescing and unavailable for comment.
Stories of a bust-up at Hilton Park have been strongly denied by Leigh officials.
