LANCASHIRE Lynx will be looking to finish on a high note against Keighley Cougars at Victory Park tomorrow.

After coming close to defeating some of the top sides in recent games, Lynx finally got their reward last Sunday with a comprehensively defeat of a poor Oldham outfit at Spotland.

The victory lifted them above Oldham in the league table and Lynx should now avoid finishing in the bottom two.

Coach Steve Hampson will be hoping to select the same squad as last weekend although there is a doubt about stand-off Neil Alexander who finished the game with a groin problem.

Youngster Paul Rostance from the Academy side made an encouraging debut when coming on as a substitute and he will keep his place in the squad.

Keighley were fancied to be one of the frontrunners this season, but a series of financial problems have seen the club struggle for the second half of the season. However, despite those on-going problems the Cougars proved last weekend that they have a good crop of young players coming through with a win over league leaders Leigh 29-14 at Cougar Park.

Star of the game was scrum half Christian Tyrer whose kicking game constantly had Leigh on the back foot. A player who Lynx will have to watch is centre Matthew Foster who ran in four tries when the sides met earlier in the season.

Lynx will line-up (3pm start): Roberts, Parsley, Murray, Abram, Jones, Alexander, Flanagan, Horton, Bennett, Prest, Solomon, Walsh, Hodgkinson. Subs: Geritas, Fisher, Rostance, Gee.
