MAY I offer sincere thanks to the Lancashire Evening Telegraph for giving me and my husband the opportunity to see the Last Night of the Proms at Broughton Park in Skipton on August 28, after I won tickets in your competition. We had a fantastic evening.
The whole event was wonderful - from the opera to Lloyd Webber. There was something for everyone. The sight of thousands of people singing and waving flags to 'Rule Britannia' was amazing, as was the grand finale firework display - breathtaking.
If any readers get the opportunity to attend an event of this kind, I urge them to do so - it was a night to remember.
