TEACHERS in East Lancashire have a chance to find out more about our Newspapers in Education project and to get a close look at newspaper production, during one-day placements, with funding towards the cost of supply cover available from the Teacher Placement Service.
A choice of two different dates is on offer, either Friday, October 15, or Friday, November 19, when teachers will be given a conducted tour of our head office in Blackburn and printing plant near Bolton during the morning, and will spend time in the afternoon examining our NIE material and discussing future facilities for schools.
