I WOULD like to say a big thank you to Mr Abrahams and all his professional team of nurses and other staff at the breast-care unit at the RLI.
Five years ago at the age of 39 I was diagnosed with breast cancer which was devastating for me and my family but thanks to the medical team , expert treatment and after care I have just reached my five year all-clear period.
I cannot forget too, Terry and my son Craig for all the support they gave me all the way through my treatment. Thank you for being there when I was feeling really bad and as you said on my card: "Been there, done that - now let's move on."
On a completely separate matter I would also like to thank Councillor Sheila Denwood for helping me out just recently - she is a good ambassador for the district and does a lot of good without asking for anything in return and even though she isn't a councillor for my area she was glad to help me out.
