ONCE again the so-called "People's Government" of Tony Blair surpasses itself in its arrogance and disregard for the British pensioner.

Our old folk have paid for 40 years into the Government "pension scheme" to get the princely sum of £75 per week. In Australia, where the cost of living is 40 per cent less than here, they get £100 per week and in Canada £110 per week.
