ROSSENDALE Valley Under 11s have been locking horns with the two Whalley sides over the past fortnight, playing against the Tigers in the Cup.
The tie was a real end-to-end affair that remained goalless after extra time, unfortunately Valley lost the resulting penalty shoot-out, Ainsworth was voted the Musbury Fabrics man of the match.
Back in the league, Valley entertained the Arrows and after a real battle emerged as 1-0 winners. The only goal of the game came in the second half from Wadsworth. Musbury Fabrics man of the match went to keeper Frost.
