SEVEN major charities have warned the public to steer clear of a telephone charity first aid scheme. Many people across the district have been sent first aid kits unsolicited and invoiced for £23. A spokesman for the charities said: "The public should be warned that anyone offering to sell a first aid box on behalf of these particular charities is not authorised by them."
