VOLUNTEERS with the Prince's Trust have introduced a new group of people to their project to help young offenders back on to the straight and narrow.
The Trust has linked with Blackburn with Darwen Council's Youth Offending Team to set up a mentors project. Project manager Ian Blackey is pictured with a group of 'would be' mentors at an introductory seminar at Ewood.
Young offenders volunteer for the project and mentors are from a cross section of the community. Anyone interested in the project can obtain further information from Nigel Brooks on 01254 263038.
