A HUNCOAT man with head and neck injuries had to be airlifted to Sheffield.
The 20-year-old was transferred from Blackburn Infirmary to the specialist unit at Northern General Hospital by the North West Air Ambulance, based at Blackpool Airport.
He is believed to have been injured in a fall down stairs on Sunday morning.
