LIBRARIES in Accrington and Rossendale will celebrate a Dickensian Christmas this year with special events, colouring competitions and quizzes for children.
Stories by candlelight evenings will be held for five to 10-year-olds with carol singing at 6pm this evening in Accrington Library, tomorrow in Rawtenstall Library, and on Monday, December 20, at Bacup Library.
On Tuesday, December 21, storytellers will also be at Haslingden Library at 6pm and at Whitworth Library at 6.15pm.
