LOCAL pensioners are reminded to attend the "Rally Against Pensioner Poverty" at Ashton Hall on Friday at 2pm.
Organised by Lancaster MP Hilton Dawson, the guest speaker will be Bruce Kent from the National Pensioners Convention who will spearhead a campaign to link pensions with average earnings.
Hilton said: "This is an event for the whole constituency and everyone who is concerned about this issue should attend."
