THREE Oswaldtwistle men appeared before Hyndburn magistrates after a street attack which left two men with slashed heads.

Lorry driver William Alexander Fullerton, 37, of Hornby Street, is charged with two counts of wounding with intent and one of violent disorder.

He was remanded in custody.

Dominic Gerald O'Sullivan, 41, unemployed, of Mallard Place, faces two charges of wounding with intent and one of violent disorder.

He was bailed on condition he lives at a rented flat in Stanhope Street, Reddish, Stockport, and stays out of Hyndburn.

His brother William O'Sullivan, 46, of Heron Way, a father-of four, is charged with causing grievous bodily harm and violent disorder. He was bailed on condition he lives at a bail hostel in Eccles. The case was adjourned to January 19 for committal.

Oswaldtwistle men Kevin Graves, 29, and Michael Clitheroe, 32, were needed stitches after the incident in Blackburn Road, Accrington, early on Sunday, November 21.
