BLACKBURN'S Elizabethan Singers will take part in a grand opera gala concert to celebrate the new millennium this summer.
The group with conductor Geoff Hill will be joined by the Langcliffe Singers with their conductor Valerie Baulard and the Settle Orchestra for the performance at Christ Church, Skipton, on June 24.
The concert will feature more than 100 voices and a supper interval during which the audience, chorus and orchestra can eat their picnics in the church grounds.
