COURSES covering parenting and the menopause will start at the Blackburn and district Women's Centre next month.
The five-week course on the menopause gives information on hormone replacement and alternative therapies and how to stay healthy beginning on Tuesday, February 8 from 10am until noon.
An eight-week survival guide for parents with children aged between five and 15, giving advice on effective parenting, starts on Thursday, February 10 from 12.30pm to 2.30pm.
Both courses will be held at the centre at 25 Wellington Street St John's, Blackburn, and registration is £3. Creche facilities are available.
