THREE leading chefs from East Lancashire will cook for an audience in Oswaldtwistle to raise money for charity.

Neil Hogg, Chris Sloan and Alan Holmes, will field questions about food and drink as they cook at Oswaldtwistle Mills.

The event, on Tuesday, February 29, has been organised by Hyndburn Council with help from Accrington and Rossendale College, who will film the chefs to help the audience see them creating two main courses and two desserts.

Neil, a lecturer at Accrington and Rossendale College, has worked at restaurants nationwide, including Northcote Manor, Langho.

Chris, proprietor of the Basement Restaurant, Clayton-le-Moors, was formerly head chef at Sparth House Hotel. He served his apprenticeship at Northcote Manor.

Alan, manager of Paul Heathcote's Restaurant, near Longridge, is a former winner of the Wine Sommelier of The Year award. Tickets are £9, and include a finger buffet.
