MRS H Hamer (Letters, January 31) makes me laugh, finding all the faults of this Labour government, but never mentioning the tax on heating that the Conservatives put on before they left office.
They were also going to privatise the NHS to follow the USA and Michael Portillo agreed with the poll tax when it came out.
So come off it, Mrs Hamer.
