REGARDING the worrying news that three more black athletes have received racist hate mail (LET, April 1).
Jack Straw should make a public statement asserting that anyone caught sending racist hate mail will certainly go to prison for a long time.
No expense should be spared in apprehending these evil people and bringing them to justice.
The cancer of racism and fascism must be crushed however impotent and insignificant it appears or it will grow.
We should always remember that the racism and fascism of Nazi Germany had very small beginnings among a handful of people.
