A GOLBORNE father and son have received long service awards from a construction materials company.
John Johnson, 56, of Gawsworth Road, and son Andrew, 32, of Kings Road, were among five employees presented with certificates by construction materials producer, Hanson Aggregates.
John has been with the company for 18 years and Andrew for 15.
The others are Kevin Ashcroft, 58, of Newland Avenue, Pemberton, and Joseph Graham, 42, of Gawsworth Road, Golborne, who work also work for the Warrington-based Hanson Construction Projects and have been with the firm for 18 years.
The fifth man Anthony Hammond, of Warrington, who works at the Wigan asphalt plant has served 15 years.
They each received a framed certificate and gift of their choice at a ceremony in Harrogate.
