CRIMESTOPPERS may pay a reward for information on thieves who stole a purse containing £46 from the home of an 87-year-old woman.
A youth knocked at her Barry Street, Burnley, door at 4.10pm on Friday, April 14, and persuaded her to allow him to collect a ball from the back garden.
Either he or an accomplice then stole the Marks and Spencer purse and other property.
He was about 15, 5ft 7ins tall, with medium-length black hair, of medium build and wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a black top and dirty trainers.
