STAFF at Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council's education and training department are celebrating a double achievement.
For they have acheived beacon status from the Government and the national Investor in People standard.
Director of education Mark Pattison, said: "Both the Investor in People standard and beacon status are national 'good practice' benchmarks of quality. They both reflect our strive for excellence and our commitment to continuous development."
