I WOULD like to reply to the letter published April 13 re sub-post offices.
I collect my retirement pension from Gillars Green post office. The hours seem adequate to me and the service is good.
At no time during my 22 years at Gillars Green have I seen it used as a social centre for pensioners and a drop-in centre for benefit claimants. I also call in for stamps and daily papers. We value this service.
