HOUSEHOLDERS in Hyndburn were urged to be on the alert for charity envelope hijackers.
The warning to check credentials was issued by Christian Aid before its house-to-house collection.
The previous year bogus callers ripped off the charity off when families in the Blackburn Road area of Accrington were conned into handing over their envelopes.
