THE Bury franchise of ANC Business Services Group Ltd has double cause for celebration.
For it has won two of the transport industry's top awards.
The company was voted Express Operator of the Year at the IFW European Freighting Industry Awards 2000 and was also presented with the Freight Transport Association (FTA) Environmental Best Practice Award 2000. Beating off stiff competition from Securicor and Parceline for IFW's accolade, ANC was commended for its flexible and innovative approach to customer requirements.
Through customer case studies, ANC was able to show the judges how the company has used or tailored existing products and services and developed new ones to ensure the smooth running of all its customers' distribution needs.
Chis Pywell, managing director of ANC Business Services Group Ltd, commented: "This award is tangible evidence that we are without doubt the best.
"We are only as good as our last delivery and it is through the continued efforts of our network of franchised depots that we were able to receive this award."
