CHORLEY boss Ken Wright is hoping his side can finish the season with a flourish and cement a top 10 spot in the UniBond First Division.
The Magpies face Workington at home tomorrow then Stocksbridge PS at Victory Park on Monday knowing two victories could see them finish ninth.
"Obviously, we want to finish as high as we can so it's a big weekend for us," said Wright.
Last Monday's 1-0 victory at Eastwood -- Chorley's ninth on the road this season -- lifted the Magpies up to 10th.
But it came at a cost as striker Ian Barker suffered ankle ligament damage which will rule him out of the last two games.
Wright, however, had some words of comfort for his 15-goal top scorer who has adapted well to life in the UniBond after signing from FNWTL outfit Mossley last summer.
"Ian has had his critics at various points this season but I think he has done well considering he has stepped up a level. He may have missed some chances but to score 15 goals in your first full season at this level isn't bad."
Apart from Barker, fellow striker Neil Mitchell is still sidelined with a shoulder problem and midfielder Ian Gibson is suspended.
Jon Senior is also unavailable.
