REGARDING the article (LET, May 30) concerning a taxi allegedly abandoning its passengers after an accident, I have been a taxi driver for more than six years and will quite honestly admit that if the driver did abandon his passengers as claimed, then this is totally inexcusable.
However, I would like to point out to the boy's 'furious Mum' that it is extremely dangerous allowing a 15-year-old out for a night on the town until 3.30am!
In my opinion, this fact alone should raise serious questions.
