CARL Fogarty has been advised to hang up his racing leathers by two of motorsport's biggest names -- Michael Schumacher and David Coulthard.

The injured World Superbike champion bumped into the Formula One stars at the Monaco Grand Prix.

And both drivers were adamant that Fogarty had nothing more to prove.

Fogarty said: "They both said exactly the same thing. They said that I had won enough and that I should call it a day. But I will not know whether I want to race again until I am able to get back on a bike."

Fogarty travels to Oxford tomorrow to hear the latest on his recovery from a triple fracture of his left arm caused by a 140mph crash in Australia.
