IT will cost more to watch Burnley play at Turf Moor next season -- but the admission prices will still be among the lowest in the First Division.

The most expensive adult ticket will be £17 for entrance into the James Hargreaves stand Upper Level, a rise of £2 from last season and for concessions it is £9, a rise of £1.50.

Other price increases include £16 entrance into the Bob Lord stand for an adult -- it was £13 last season -- and £13 into the Jimmy McIlroy Upper Level Stand, up from £11.

"We stated in the current season ticket brochure that matchday prices were liable to increase if we gained promotion," said general manager Andrew Watson.

"Now we have achieved our objective a price increase was inevitable to increase our football budget, enabling us to compete in the First Division.

"Even at the 1999/00 Division One prices from other clubs, and those will increase, Burnley's new pricing levels are still among the cheapest in the Division."

It means that anyone buying an adult season ticket will save £93 and those who purchased a ticket in March now have an additional saving of up to an extra £23.

Season tickets are currently for sale from the Turf Moor Ticket Office.
