SHEFFIELD Wednesday's Lee Briscoe checked in in time for pre season training as Burnley manager Stan Ternent made his first major signing of the summer today.
Briscoe, available under the Bosman ruling, is a left sided player who became the Clarets first senior signing of the summer following the capture of Liverpool's John Boardman.
Briscoe turned down the chance to stay at Hillsborough at the start of the summer and despite reported interest from Wolves has opted to join Burnley's First Division campaign.
