A BUSINESS angel has touched a nursing home to give it wings.
Clitheroe-based Lancashire Nursing and Residential Homes have received a £60,000 investment to help to reopen Clitheroe Residential Home, Eshton Terrace, which has been in administration for a year.
Directors Colin Lucas and Andrew Hobson approached TEChINVEST -- a network which matches investors with businesses -- for help.
"The service we received from theTEChINVEST team was invaluable," said Colin. "Their adviser helped us to concentrate our thoughts on the business plan and produce a summary of the investment opportunity."
The details were circulated among investors and several expressed interest.
Colin said: "We selected the business angel best suited to our business needs and the investment deal was finalised very quickly."
TEChINVEST has helped North West firms raise £11million and unlock a fiurther £19million in additional funding since it was set up in 1992.
