GREENMOUNT County Primary pupils are officially ace.
Forget Wimbledon, they swept the board at a much more important event when they took part in the Bury School's Short Tennis Competition last week, winning every single category.
Elizabeth Ullathorne, 10, won the girls singles for the third year running while Thomas Coxon, 10, took the boys singles and Louisa Graham and Jonathan , both aged 10, triumphed in the mixed doubles.
Teacher Steve Ashworth said: "I don't know why they are so good at tennis. We practice quite a bit in the morning before the competition so it could be that."
And the school isn't just a dab hand at tennis.
It's cricket team has finished North West runners-up in a competition at Manchester Grammar and the girls rounders team has won the Bury Inter League.
