TOFFEE-sucking shoppers clicked with artist Margaret Mytton when she snapped their pictures while they were snapping up sweets.

Margaret, of Todmorden, took the shots as they selected their favourites on Eunice's sweet stall in Rawtenstall market -- and put the photos on display in the market cafe. The customers and their friends loved it and have flocked to the cafe to find themselves on the 100 pictures on display.

Stall owner Eunice Fay, who has run the stall for 12 years said: "It has been a marvellous project which has created a lot of interest, with customers asking for copies of the photos to keep themselves."

The photo-take was part of an arts project which has seen 13 artists from the Globe Gallery at Waterfoot linking with stallholders to produce various forms of artwork, as part of the Year of the Artist campaign.

Funding for the project has come from North West Arts, Rossendale Council and Manchester Metropolitan University.
