PATIENTS' watchdogs rejected health chiefs' plans over the closure of Park Lee Hospital, Blackburn.
The 100-year-old hospital was due to close in 1997 and its services transferred to a new £7 million unit at Queen's Park Hospital.
But members of the CHC "reluctantly rejected" the consultation document on the closure.
