THE best of British food -- from ostrich meat to sheep's milk -- will be on sale at the first Longridge Good Food and Drink Festival.
The new event at Longridge Civic Hall, which organisers hope to make an annual fixture, will include exhibits from farmers and firms from all over the region.
Meat lovers can sample delicacies from wild boar to black pudding while vegetarians can try farmhouse ice cream, locally produced honey, chutneys, herbs and more.
And Fitzpatrick's Herbal Health, of Rawtenstall, will be selling their non-alcoholic drinks.
The festival on Sunday, July 23, is open 10.30am-4.30pm and all visitors will be entered into a free prize draw for a giant hamper, containing mouthwatering samples from every exhibitor.
