POLICE are appealing for information about a thief who stole jewellery valued at £290 from a house in Western Avenue, Burnley, at 3.50pm yesterday.
He is described as Afro-Caribbean, 5ft 2ins, slim, about 30 years, shaved head and facial stubble.
He was wearing a black leather thigh-length jacket and blue jeans. Anyone with information is asked to contact Burnley CID on 01282 472144 or get in touch with Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
