WORKERS at a Burnley firm were evacuated following a chemical alert. Fire crews told everyone to leave the premises after a tank containing 2,500 litres of the chemical kolene overheated.
Firecrews rushed to AIT, the former Wood Top factory of Lucas Aerospace, off Cog Lane in Burnley, following the alert.
