CERTIFICATES in food hygiene were presented to 15 Rossendale people who have completed a special course.
Eleven staff from local businesses and four individuals attended three two-hour classes and sat an exam.
All passed, including one man who had previously failed due to language difficulties.
The course is part of the ethnic business support initiative under the Action for Haslingden Partnership and certificates were presented at the Indian Harvest restaurant, Crawshawbooth, by Sally Collins, director of Action for Haslingden Partnership, Coun Stephen Bertwell, chairman of environmental health and County Coun Ian Ormerod.
