POLICE are appealing for help to track down a pervert who exposed himself to an eight-year-old girl in Cleveleys.

The incident happened at around 6pm on Monday, July 3, in Linden Close where the girl was playing in an alley at the back of Linden Lodge. The man approached her on a bike and asked her if she knew the time.

He then exposed himself and performed an indecent act before hurrying off. Police have issued a description. He is white, 16-18, approximately 5ft 8in with dark hair. He was wearing glasses and was dressed in a pair of dark tracksuit bottoms.

THIEVES made off with two boxes of 24 "bubble" alarm clocks worth £900 after breaking into a factory on Cornford Road, Blackpool, on Thursday, June 29. Just before midnight on the same day the factory was broken into and another five boxes, containing 120 alarm clocks valued at £2,200, were stolen. The clocks are five inches in diameter and are made of a transparent material. They have a white face with black numbers and stainless steel hands. A YOUNG man was assaulted while walking with a friend on Waterloo Road in St Annes in the early hours of Thursday, June 29. The man was approached by a thug who headbutted him and made off. He was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital where he was treated for injuries and had to have a tooth inserted back into his gum. The attacker was white, in his early 20s, medium build with a dark skinhead haircut and a goatee beard. He was wearing a royal blue shirt and black trousers and was carrying a bag, possibly containing bottles.

A TEENAGE delinquent was seen in the car park of Good Dent Brushes on Clifton Road, Blackpool, trying to break into cars on Wednesday, June 28. When a witness approached him the thief headbutted him. The two struggled but the thief escaped and ran away. He was aged around 16-17, was slim, with short-cropped brown hair, and was wearing brown Rockport shoes and a white Henri Lloyd tracksuit top.

A 68-year-old lady was the victim of a robbery on Mere Road, Blackpool, on Thursday, June 29. She parked her car and was walking towards Whitegate Drive when she stopped to talk to a friend. A man approached her from the front and grabbed her purse, containing £52 in cash plus bank and store cards. He then ran away towards Olive Grove and was last seen running towards Forestgate. He was a white male, 6ft tall, medium build, with dark hair which was short but not shaved. He wore a thigh-length dark brown cotton jacket and light beige trousers.
