RACING cyclist Andy Tinsley is storming back into form. He followed a hard fought third place at a rain-drenched Oulton Park with victory the next night in the Mike Walsh Memorial race held in Birkenhead Park. Coming from the scratch handicap group, Andy (now riding for the Paul Moy team) caught the leaders with 13 laps to go. At one point the Pilks worker unselfishly fell back off the leaders to drag a team mate back up to the pace. That allowed two rivals to build up a 200 yard lead with four laps left. But on the last two laps Andy used all his power to get across the gap in a fine solo effort and outsprinted the pair on the uphill finish.
