COULD someone please explain to me what effect, if any, the transfer of council housing stock will have on the people who have already purchased their council homes, in terms of anti-social behaviour, vandalism, the dumping of rubbish etc., matters not currently addressed by the council?
I would also be very interested to learn how many people in Blackburn and Darwen, having purchased their homes 20 years ago from the council, now deeply regret having done so due to problems with the above and the fact that they are unable to sell their property due to the environment in which they now find themselves.
