LABOURER Terry Mangan doted on his wife and two young children, an inquest heard this week.
Mr Mangan (38) suffered horrific injuries when he fell into the path of a lorry on the M60 motorway at Whitefield on September 26.
His wife of nearly two years, Joanne (30), has since been charged with manslaughter in connection with the tragedy and is due to be committed to Bolton Crown Court on November 23, five days before their second wedding anniversary.
Mr Mangan , from Liverpool , suffered multiple injuries after being struck by a lorry. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
In a statement read out during the opening of the inquest into the tragedy, Mr Mangan's mother Maureen, also from Liverpool, said her son doted on his children and his wife.
The inquest was adjourned pending the committal proceedings against Mr Mangan's wife.
