TWO best friends from Preston have proved they are a cut above the rest after setting up the hairdressing salon they always dreamed of together.
Sam Farmer, from Hoghton, and Anna Kuchta, from Hutton, who first met 17 years ago, have just opened Streakers in Cannbridge Street, Higher Walton, Preston.
Although Anna has been in the hairdressing business since leaving school, Sam has had other jobs.
Sam said: "Both of us are trained stylists and we always talked about how great it would be to go into business together and get our own salon, so now we've done it."
Now, after coppering up the cash from their personal savings, the happy duo have opened the doors to their first salon. Anna added: "It's great to be living out our dream. The response has been really good and both our husbands are so proud."
